Stay Responsibly

Your Adventure Starts Here—Help Us Keep It Amazing

WELCOME TO ANGEL FIRE!

We’re thrilled to have you in Angel Fire! Whether you’re here to ski, hike, bike, or simply take in the stunning mountain views, we want your visit to be unforgettable. To help keep our Village safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines.

BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR

EMBRACE THE STILLNESS
A little kindness goes a long way. Please be courteous, respect your neighbors and their property, and keep noise levels down—especially after 9:00 PM.

STAY SAFE & KNOW YOUR LIMITS
Guest Capacity: To ensure safety and comfort, each rental has a maximum guest limit based on bathrooms:

  • 5 guests per full bathroom (sink, toilet, shower/bath)
  • 2 guests per half-bath (sink, toilet)
  • Example: A 2.5-bath home = 12 guests max (5+5+2).

PARKING: KEEP THE ROADS CLEAR
Village roads must remain clear for snowplows and emergency vehicles. Parking on Village streets is not permitted. Use designated parking areas at your rental or official off-site parking.

LIGHTS OUT, STARS ON
Please keep outdoor lights directed downward, and turn them off when you leave. Our dark skies make for some of the best stargazing in New Mexico.

TRASH & RECYCLING
Take your trash and cardboard to the Angel Fire Recycle Center at 27 Halo Pines Terrace. Drop-off details here.
For large items, visit the Transfer Station at 55 Camino Grande. More info here.

FIRE SAFETY
Our forests are beautiful, but fire danger is real.

  • Open fires are prohibited, except in an approved fire pit or grill.
  • Fireworks are always illegal in Angel Fire.
  • Check for fire restrictions before starting any fire:Fire restriction updates here.

EMERGENCY SERVICES
For medical care, visit the Angel Fire Medical Clinic at the base of the Resort. More info here.
In an emergency, call 911 for Fire, Police, or Paramedic assistance.

RESPECT OUR WILDLIFE

Seeing wildlife is part of the magic of Angel Fire, but feeding them is dangerous and illegal. Keep a safe distance and never leave food or trash outside—this helps protect both you and our animals. Wildlife, including bears, are known to open car doors and even enter homes if they smell food. Always lock your doors, close windows, and remove any food or scented items from your vehicle to avoid unwanted encounters.
