Angel Fire Resort's Scenic Chairlift Ride
Take the scenic chairlift to the 10,000+ foot mountain summit where you can enjoy disc golf and hiking. Bring your lunch and take in the vistas from the Summit Haus. When you’re finished at the top you can hike down, or hop back on the chairlift and see the entire valley, Wheeler Peak, and Eagle Nest Lake state park.
Conquer the Mountain at Angel Fire’s Disc Golf Course
Challenge yourself at the top of the mountain with the 18-hole disc golf course. It’s free to play but you will need a lift ticket or season pass to access the chairlift. There are amateur and professional tee pads to accommodate players of any skill level, and disc rentals are available.

Located just steps from the top of the Chile Express chairlift, The Summit Haus offers breathtaking “top of the world” views, stretching north beyond Eagle Nest Lake and into Colorado. Savor delicious burgers and more while relaxing on our wrap-around patio, with a full bar available to complement your meal.

Hit the Trails
SUMMIT LOOP HIKE
This 4-mile hike ascends over 2,000 vertical feet to the summit of Angel Fire Resort. Enjoy stunning mountain views as you tackle rugged terrain. Once at the top, you can ride the Chile Express chairlift down. Be sure to bring water, hiking poles, and proper footwear for the steep climb.
ENLIGHTENMENT TRAIL
A challenging 5-mile trek from base to summit, the Enlightenment Trail gains over 2,000 vertical feet. The steep, narrow, and rugged path tests your endurance, but rewards you with panoramic summit views. Afterward, choose to descend via the Chile Express chairlift or hike back down. Bring plenty of water, hiking poles, and check trail conditions before you go.
