Angel Fire Resort Nordic Center
The Angel Fire Resort Nordic Center is your gateway to winter exploration beyond the ski slopes. With more than 12 kilometers of beautifully groomed cross-country ski trails, the Nordic Center offers terrain for both classic and skate skiing, welcoming beginners and seasoned skiers alike. Snowshoeing is also permitted, making it easy to experience the quiet beauty of Angel Fire’s snow-covered forests at your own pace.
In addition to trail access, the Nordic Center is also home to Angel Fire’s designated sledding hill, located just outside the Country Club. This maintained area offers a fun, easy place for kids to enjoy the snow and spend time outdoors. Sledding is only permitted at this location and is not allowed on ski slopes or elsewhere on resort property.
Before heading out, stop by the Nordic Center to purchase your trail pass or sledding session and sign in. Our friendly staff is happy to help with rentals, trail information, and any questions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day on the snow.
Sledding at the Nordic Center
• Location: Nordic Center, outside the Country Club
• Sessions: 1-hour sessions
• Hours: 10 AM – 4 PM
• No ticket sales: 3 PM – 4 PM
• No reservations required
Pricing:
• $12 per person (1-hour session)
• $15 per sled rental
– Merikan Missile (1-person sled)
– Flexible Flyer Winter Trek (2-person sled; may be used by a parent with a young child)
• Personal plastic sleds are welcome
