The Vietnam Veterans Memorial – Veterans Day Ceremony 2025

Join the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire for a moving Veterans Day ceremony. This annual gathering honors the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, offering a time for remembrance, gratitude, and community reflection.

Where: Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Angel Fire, NM
What to Expect:
- Veterans Day Ceremony hosted by the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services

- Explore the Veterans Walkway, museum exhibits, gift shop, and chapel
- The Visitor Center is open Thursday–Monday from 9 AM – 5 PM
About the Memorial:
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was built in 1971 by Victor and Jeanne Westphall to honor their son, Marine 1st Lt. David Westphall, and the sixteen Marines of Bravo Company who lost their lives in Vietnam. Dedicated on the third anniversary of his passing, the site has grown into a powerful tribute to all who served. Now managed by the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services, the memorial continues to stand as a symbol of love, loss, and gratitude.
