Ski Ballet: The Angel Fire Resort Way

Are you ready to bring retro freestyle back to the slopes?
Angel Fire Resort invites skiers to glide into pure retro magic with a weekend dedicated to ski ballet—where style, rhythm, and mountain swagger come together on the snow. Spin, leap, and dance your way down the mountain during this playful, throwback freestyle experience.

What to Expect:


SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21: 

10 AM – 12 PM: Introductory Acro/Ski Ballet Clinic

  • For skiers new to ski ballet
  • Held on green terrain
  • Intermediate parallel skiing ability required
  • Regular skis and poles recommended

 

12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Advanced Acro/Ski Ballet Clinic

  • For skiers with basic ski ballet experience
  • Focus on higher-level skills
  • Held on green terrain
  • Shorter skis available for rent at Winter Sports

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22 

12 PM – 2 PM: Acro/Ski Ballet Exhibition

  • Lower Exhibition Slope, skier’s right
  • Meet at the start area at noon
  • Prizes for participants, including a grand prize for the most skills performed
  • Music and prize table at the Cocoa Shack
