Military Family Weekend in Angel Fire

Are you a veteran, active-duty family, or community member who wants to give back?
Celebrate, honor, and support our veterans with a weekend full of music, community, and purpose. From feel-good concerts in the park to a heartfelt BBQ luncheon and a powerful 5K for awareness, this weekend is dedicated to those who’ve served—and those who stand beside them.
When: Friday–Sunday, August 29–31, 2025

FRIDAY, AUGUST 29
- 5-7PM – Cool Summer Nights Concert: The Mango Cakes

A high-energy, feel-good show from Albuquerque’s vibrant pop-soul fusion band.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 30
- Starts at 7:30AM – 10K Mountain Run
Angel Fire Resort | Start/Finish near Base Area

Supports local trail stewardship through the Enchanted Circle Trails Association. -
11AM – Veteran Family BBQ Luncheon

8:30AM-3PM Annual David Westphall Veterans Foundation Bricklaying Ceremony
Vietnam Veterans Memorial | 34 Country Club Road
Run for The Wall (RFTW) honors veterans and military by laying bricks along the Veterans Memorial Walkway. - 5-8PM – Military Family Weekend Concert: Ryan Painter and the Resistors
