If you’re spending the holiday in Angel Fire, be sure to catch the beloved Fireworks Over Eagle Nest Lake, a longtime regional tradition just minutes away. Presented by the Eagle Nest Chamber of Commerce, this annual celebration lights up the Moreno Valley skies with one of the most impressive fireworks displays in Northern New Mexico.

Now in its 48th year, the show draws visitors and locals alike to enjoy the colorful display reflecting over Eagle Nest Lake and the surrounding mountains.

When: July 4 | Around 9 PM (at dark)
Where: Eagle Nest Lake State Park or anywhere around Eagle Nest Lake with a view
