For participants without their own watercraft\, worry not! There will be watercraft rentals\, and there’s no charge to join in on the races. Winners of the race events will be rewarded with fantastic prizes courtesy of Angel Fire Resort! \n\n\n\n\nAfter all that excitement\, you’re sure to work up an appetite. Luckily\, we’ll have hot dogs sizzling on the grill available for purchase. DESCRIPTION:Are you a fan of s’mores and intrigued by the wonders of the night sky?\nJoin us near the Boat House at Monte Verde Lake on select weekend nights when the moon is faint and the celestial wonders are at their brightest. Accompanied by amateur astronomer and astrophotographer Mike Hawkins\, we invite you to peer through a telescope\, marvel at the moon\, stars\, galaxies\, and nebulae\, and engage in guided discussions. \nAs you gather around fire pits\, complimentary s’mores will be provided for your enjoyment. Remember to dress warmly for the outdoor setting and consider bringing chairs\, blankets\, and binoculars if you have them. \nPlease refrain from using white-light flashlights or phone screens as they can disrupt your and others’ vision adjustment and detract from the experience of observing the night sky. \n  \nWhen: Select Friday nights through the summer\, from 8-10 PM \nWhere: Monte Verde Lake\, Mountain View Blvd \nWhat: Explore the night sky through a telescope while enjoying S’Mores over the fire! \n  \n**While we will make every attempt to keep the scheduled date and time for stargazing\, we will need clear skies for optimal viewing.
